HOURLY WAGE RATE AS OF APRIL 1, 2025:
- Start: $26.62
- 6 months: $27.17
- 18 months: $27.97
- 30 months: $28.73
Note: Temporary Positions are for up to 12 or 18 months (as per the collective agreement)
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Education;
- Must be fluent in oral and written English;
- Experience in food service and an understanding of therapeutic diets would be beneficial;
- New hires must have completed or be enrolled in a Food Service Worker training program at an established college as listed in the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act, 2002 or a registered private career college in Ontario.
- If the successful applicant ceases to be enrolled in the program or fails to successfully complete the program within three years of being hired, his/her employment will cease.
